Really not much aroma, except for a hint of caramel. Wow this has a lot of malt, tastes like you’re eating it. Too much for me.

On cask (dry hopped) at Jolly Roger Taproom. Pours hazy copper with a nice soapy white head. Aroma is citrus hops and brown sugar. Tastes mostly the same, but stronger, and with a little more caramel and grass. Nice smooth mouthfeel with a mostly sweet malty, slightly hoppy finish.

Draught @ Jolly Roger Taproom, Seattle. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Malty fruity caramel aroma with some hoppy hints. Malty fruity caramel flavor with some hints of hops. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with some hoppy hints in the aftertaste.

On tap @ the brewpub. Pours clear copper with off white head and some nice lacing. It has a pleasing malty aroma of roasted malts, caramel and nuttiness to go along with a faint hint of buttered bread. The taste has a nice mix of roasted malts, caramel and mild nuttiness. I also get some sweet molasses and a hint of pine hops wondering around deep in the background. Tasty malty brew with enough roasted malt dryness and mild hoppiness to keep the varied malty sweetness in check.

A big thank you goes out to riversideAK for this sample, a 12 oz brown bottle. Smells yeasty and perhaps citrusy at times. Dull copper appearance with little head when poured gently. Intial taste is medium hop bitterness then malts and even a hint of soap follows. Some smooth carbonation. A little mediciney on the finish, lingers a while.
