A bit nutty, abit hoppy, definietly not over the top, pretty easy to drink. Fairly thin, not very intersting. JorisPPattyn (5193), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 20, 2006 Draught Slightly hazy red-foxy beer with telltale full whipped cream nitrokeghead. Bitterish, and just a slight bit bready. Whiff of diacetyl. Woody bitterness in the taste, going over in hops. Not very assertive pale & coloured malts underneath. Deceptive creamy feel from the nitro hides a rather watery texture. Well, ho-hum ale. The "Alt" moniker is totally usurped. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 22, 2007 Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Bottleworks in Seattle. Pours a clear orange amber brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a white ring and some lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, some flowery hops, roasted nuts and a touch of green vegetables. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with a caramel malt and slight citrus zest flavor. Finish is slightly metalic, semi sweet with a caramel malt aftertaste. A little light for my favorite type of amber ales but still drinkable.
