Aug 14, 2008 On tap. Pours a nice, slightly hazy amber color with a medium off-white head. Aroma is a bit piney and citrus with an influence of hops. Great flavor with a nice balance of hops and malt. I really like pale ales, and this is a great one. I’d like to pair this brew with crispy fried chicken, mashed potatoes with chicken gravy and a mixed green salad.

Overall: the butterscotch gives it an English IPA character, but too many hops makes it American

Jul 10, 2008 What a nice surprise to get this as an extra in a trade. Pours slightly clody golden with a large head. Aroma is hops of the piney cascade variety. Nice and smooth brew I actually think this IPA is almost on the same level as the highest rated 2IPAs. Maybe I’m just a fan of the cascade hops.

Jul 2, 2008 On tap at WABL Fathers Day BrewFest 2008. Pours hazy dark gold with a lacy white head. Aroma of pine and citrus. Some fruit in the taste. Medium body and light carbonation. Dry piney finish.

May 25, 2008 Nice hops. Not overpowering. Bitter. For being on tap at the hotel bar, it was a pleasant choice to have. Went down well.

May 12, 2008 Draft @ Uber. Amber with an off white head. Aroma is a light fruit hoppiness, apricot, honey, malt. Taste is also a fruity hoppiness, light alcohol, and smooth bitterness.

Apr 21, 2008 Hazy amber with a frothy white head. Grapefruit hops aroma with touches of caramel. Crisp and refreshing flavor marked by citrus hops bitterness. Quite respectable.
