Commercial Description:
Hoppy, crisp, and citrusy, with an underlying malt character. Made by blending lots of malted barley, wheat, and a judicious quantity of Cascade hops. A "big" beer!

Hazy amber with a frothy white head. Grapefruit hops aroma with touches of caramel. Crisp and refreshing flavor marked by citrus hops bitterness. Quite respectable.

Cask at Jolly Roger Taproom. pumps a cloudy straw. Good hoppy tones with the citrus. Nice malt backbone. Very smooth mouth feel with a slow bitter finish.

Draught @ Jolly Roger Taproom, Seattle. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a malty hoppy citrus piney aroma. Dry malty hoppy bitter piney flavor. Has a long malty bitter hoppy finish with a long aftertaste.

Cask @ Brouwers. Hazy amber with a tight head. Fresh aroma is malt grist and piney hops. Smooth medium body. Great taste is grainy and mildly sweet malts with sweet floral hops mixing nicely. Tough to beat a cask iipa.

On tap. Pours a nice, slightly hazy amber color with a medium off-white head. Aroma is a bit piney and citrus with an influence of hops. Great flavor with a nice balance of hops and malt. I really like pale ales, and this is a great one. I’d like to pair this brew with crispy fried chicken, mashed potatoes with chicken gravy and a mixed green salad.
