Nothing about it was bad, but nothing really stood out either. Probably had something to do with being placed in the middle of a 5-beer sampler. dwyerpg (2537), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Excellent. A truly fine pale cale, crisp and clean. It had a great floral hop character to it and was consistent throughout. A great finish.
Had again and scored it a 4.5 Great beer. sheatripper (863), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 6, 2007 Bottle. Hazy amber/orange with a frothy white head leaving striped lace. Aromatic hop aroma--lots of orange and grapefruit, with some peach and biscuit to caramel malt underneath. Caramel malt flavor with bright citrusy hops throughout. Dry hop finish, leaving some lingering bitterness. Hoppiness is way more than "subtle" as advertised in the commercial description entered on this site. There’s an assertive citrusy hoppiness here, but I’m not complaining. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Seems like there’s some fine residual yeast in this one as well. Overall one of the better APA’s I’ve had in a while.
