Red-brown and slightly hazy with a fine tan head. The aroma is marzipan and toasted malt, and the flavor is mellow and rounded complex of malts with definite expresso notes and very restrained hops. Both the palate and the finish are exceptionally smooth
While this is neither a typical amber ale (more like a brown ale) nor is it my favorite style, I’ve got to say that this is a very well crafted beer. Hooker (450), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada

Fluffy head that quickly dissipates. Slightly roasted flavor, some old world hops and nice sweetness. Quick finish. This is a tasty beer, reminiscent of an alt. If you are not in the mood for a hop monster, this is a nice treat. I like these guys’ brews. motelpogo (4395), Plzen, Czech Republic
