baobubba (433), Corvallis, Oregon, USA Mar 8, 2003 I've never sat down to rate this one, but I have had it enough times to make a decent rating... Good brew to get a pitcher of if you wat to satisfy a table of pale ale and dark ale drinkers. It has a little hop character to it, floral touch in the aroma and a light to moderate bitterness. Light roasty and caramel flavors. Flavor is sweet and somewhat full. Good stuff.
BuckeyeBoy (1259), Boise, Idaho, USA Jan 2, 2009 On Tap at Maritime Pacific Seattle. Pours out a dark brown topped with a off white head. Aroma of rich malts and a good mix of hops. Tast of the malts again and again. A nice little sweetness goes well with the hops. danielcurtis81 (349), San Diego, California, USA Nov 19, 2008 Draft at Jolly Roger Taproom. Pours a black brown. Overall – I liked this beer had some great dark amber flavors. There was a great flavor of caramel and toffee flavors with this beer. I will be sure to seek this out again.
