Draught @ Jolly Roger Taproom, Seattle. Pours a clear golden color with a longlasting white head. Malty grainy aroma. Sweetish malty grainy flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a malty slightly grainy finish with a bitter aftertaste.

On tap @ the brewpub. Pours clear gold with bright white head and nice lacing. The mild aroma contains floral hops and some mild graininess and not much else. At times I had a difficult time smelling anything at all out of the glass. It has a solid lager flavor with sweet to mildly grainy maltiness balanced by chewy noble type floral and spicy hops. Nice session brew.

Sampled at Maritime Pacific in Seattle, WA--Poured a typical straw yellow body with a medium white head. Grainy, semi-sweet biscuity nose. Lightly carbonated. Slightly lemony, but mostly just "whatever." Sessionable and zesty with a minor hops finish.

On draught at the Jolly Roger brewery/taproom grill in suburban Seattle, WA. Pours a clear golden pale brew with a fast dissolving white head that started large and then that leaves behind a thin film and white ring with some spotty lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, citrus zest, with a touch of mild yeast. Taste is light to medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of golden grain malt, some lemon zest, and a touch of Ivory soap. Finish is mildly bitter with some citrus zest and a pale ale hop aftertaste.

Has a bicuity baked bread grassy nose, some fruitiness. Gold color, decent head. Good chewy malt sweetness, balanced by a somewhat complex spicy hop bitterness. Nice carbonation, easy drinking and crisp--but it really delivers with some complexity. The longer than expected finish is something I can only describe as simply "tasty". This is a very easy drinking beer that has more to it than your typical American Pale Lager. In fact, this might be one of the best "neo" American Pale Lagers made. Really enjoyable easy drinking beer for any occasion.

Pours light gold with a nice head. Aroma of pale bready malts, a little sweetness. Flavors of light sweet malt, bread, with a grassy crispness and perhaps a little metallic note. A great thirst quencher with decent flavor and a crisp finish. Nice fresh lager.
