Grain and grassy aroma evokes a German lager, but without the crisp finish. Something is missing. I think the hops should be maybe different. The cereal and sweet side needs the balance of Saaz hops. kp (8396), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 9, 2009 Not too bad and pretty solid for a lager. On tap in lots of locally-focused smaller pubs, it pours an expected clear gold with a grassy aroma but is has a touch more hops than usual. Good balance and clean taste. dwyerpg (2537), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 3, 2009 A little soapy, somewhat hoppy aroma for a lager. This is a pretty darn good lager. A lot of hops in the finish. I actually prefer this to the pils. scrizzz (1280), kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 22, 2009 Dry hopped draft at the brewery. Clear bright yellow, soft abrupt lager, some floral hops. Fiercely lagery. Dry like notebook paper, cottony, aspirin. Some corn? Lagers just aren’t my thing. This is a well built lager, it’s just that I don’t really like them. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA

Nose is minimally hoppy but clean and bright. Some minimal sulphur/chemical scents. lemon sweetness to the hops, fresh and mild corn syrup nose. Crisp, wet, perfectly clean with a properly full body and a sharp and bright fullness to the malt body. well made, well lagered. Better than many of the ales I found around Seattle on draft. love it. I could drink this all day every day. robforbes (1099), Bremerton, Washington, USA

smell of grain, corn, few malts, some hops, and a touch of citrus in the back.
taste is thick, corn syrip, grain, some malt, and ends a little dry.
overall not bad for a pale lager which is not my favorite style. after4ever (2766), Brier, Washington, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 3, 2009 Draft at Beveridge Place Pub. Pours crystal clear light golden with a dense and creamy but short-lived platinum blonde head. Nice nutty and wet-grass-y nose. Creamy light body, carb is out of the way. Lemon, wet grass, wet leaves, and nuts on the mid-palate. Long nutty finish.
