On tap at the brewpub June 2008: Pours a transparent golden with a stringy-lacing white head. Aroma of grainy toasty pale malts with some light corn character. Body starts lightly sweet and grainy malty with a drier toasty lager yeasty finish. Pretty smooth and drinkable, but uninteresting.

on tap-pours a big off white head that laces and hazy yellow/gold color. Aroma is creamy light/medium malt, fruit-some citrus, faint continental (saaz?) hops. Taste is creamy light/medium malt, fruit-some citrus, faint continental (saaz?) hops, slight off notes (maybe needed a longer rest), English (Ringwood) yeast.

pours slightly hazy gold color with a small head. aroma is some fruity esters, some banana... flavor was malty and very fruity for a lager. hops balanced more as the beer drank. I wonder what kind of temperature control they use for this?

On tap, Taming of the Brew 2006. Pours a slightly cloudy light gold with a minimal thin fizzy white head. Minimal aroma of some light crystal malt. Flavor is mostly diacetyl with some light crystal malt and minimal to no hoppiness. Body is very light with prickly fizzy carbonation. This one was not good. Not sure where the Vienna style came from, but in the program for the brewfest it described it as a golden lager. Maybe better classified as a Pale Lager.

Tap at the brewpub. golden, with a thin white head. Pale malt with cooked corn aroma. Very light flavors, watery almost. Silght hops. OK, but I think it could be much better...

A nice medium amber with decent carbonation but no head. Aroma is mostly hoppy with some citrus and floral notes. Some malt in the nose with a hint of DMS. Flavor is really nice with a good amount of malt but definately hoppy for a lager. Good very clean and crisp finish. This one reminded me a lot of Brooklyn Lager because of the nice rounded hoppiness and overall, just a well made lager.
