Draught at Market Cross: Faint aroma of malts, slight coffee, and a hint of hops. Poured brown in color with a small, creamy, light brown head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of tiny particles throughout. Good lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and slightly bitter. Tastes of malts, chocolate, and cream. Medium body. Creamy texture. Soft to average carbonation. Chocolate and malt finish.

had on cask: quite a nice porter. aroma was of dark malts, chocolate and coffee. black in color with ruby around the edges, great head retention. great flavors, bitter chocolate and coffee flavors. silky cask palate. really nice

Cask... Pitch black ale with a fluffy, lightly tanned head. Excellent retention. Chocolaty, coffee nose that’s just a touch lactic. The flavor leans barely toward the bitter side of balance; much like drinking dark, unsweetened chocolate. Medium-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Finishes chocolaty and moderately bitter.
