On tap at the brewpub June 2008: Pours a transparent golden with a stringy, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet toasty caramel and a touch of piny hops. Body starts fairly full and toasty sweet with a crisp bittering and flavor hop balance showing some lightly smoky, grainy rye in the finish. A pretty nice rye pale ale.

Nice summer ale, aroma is cereal grain, color was a slightly hazy amber gold color, however the beer had no head so was not very nice to loot at. flavor was tart, refreshing and malty. palate was well carbonated and light. Enjoyable

Pint at the brewery. Light to medium yellow gold colored body with a white head. Syrupy, husky grains in the nose, rye, corn, wheat, cereal, etc. Sharp and biting flavor, which is expected with the rye sometimes, a bit heavy, a bit too thick and sharp, finishes with a stenchy sour and sugary grain and sweet corn flavor. Different.

Pours dark gold, with aroma of rye, malt, some hops. Tastes malty, wheaty, with some honey at the finish.
