Commercial Description:
Market Street Pilsner is an authentic Bohemian style pilsner. Using our special Bavarian lager yeast, our Classic Pils is slightly sweet with an exceptionally smooth malty body. The finish is dry and pleasantly bitter from imported German Hallertau and Czech Saaz hops.

Nice hearty pils. This beer fits all the criteria for a sturdy Bohemian Pilsner. Good malty body - almost like a Munich helles but with a nice dose of fresh hops. I actually had a co-worker complain that it was "dark" and "tasted bad" just before he ordered his usual beer, Amstel Light. I gladly finished his Market Street. What a shame it is that the mega brewers have so watered down their fare that people believe an authentic pilsner is "too much and too heavy" to drink!

Got this in my Beer of the month club. Normally give the Pils to my wife, as I'm not usually a fan, but this one was different. Flavor like fresh bread; best American pils I've had next to the Blue Paddle.

Increadible pilsner with a lasting bitter aftertaste. Great head - very frothy.

Market Street Pilsner pours to a beautiful, bright, deep golden color with a bright white head, and a good bit of carbonation. The nose on this beer is very crisp, with really good pilsner malt aromas, and subtle, balancing aromas of herbal/grassy hops. The palate is crisp, and firm with outstanding pilsner malt flavors. The body is very round and clean on this beer making it very drinkable. Market Street Pilsner finishes with more great malt flavor up front, then ends with just a slight bit of herbal hop bitterness to round this beer out. This is an outstanding beer with great malt flavor. It is just a bit too malty for the style, and could use a dash more hop aroma and bitterness. This however, is just a very minor flaw. I enjoyed this beer very much, and really loved the malt character.

Smooth, goes down nice, and has its own unique taste.

I loved this beer. Full, rich taste and pretty smooth. I’m not sure how anyone could rate this below a 3.

As I remember, this was one of Lindsay Bohannon's first offerings when he started brewing. Nashville did not have a lot to offer us beer-wise in those days. This lager stood out as the best pilsner available at the time. I still enjoy it whenever I can get it. Nice hop balance, dead on accurate for the style, very drinkable.

Mildly hoppy, and pretty refreshing. Good when Fresh.
