scraff (1632), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Oct 11, 2006 Deep amber, light tan creamy head. Nose held soft notes of toasted florals, earth, caramel, and milk chocolate. Flavor was well toasted with more touches of caramel, chocolate, and just a hint of citrus. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bittersweet finish. Not bad by any means... rudolf (1547), Buffalo, New York, USA Oct 4, 2006 Growler brought back by my brother-in-law. Nice ruddy copper body. Nose is peanutty malt, a little caramel, slight alcohol burn, perhaps a bit of light fruitiness. Flavor is caramel, more bitterness than I expected, a bit of fruit and a peanut-brittle finish. A bit odd.
