Nate (2352), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 19, 2008 Sample on tap at brewpub. Light neutral fruit in the nose, some caramel and bit of grassy hops. Dark amber copper clear with off-white lacing head. Medium body with light-medium carbonation. Starts dusty with grain and tannin, mild tea. Bit of neutral fruit sweetness and grassy hops. Mild sweet finish and dry nutty hoppy bitter after.
Sammy (3287), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 20, 2007 An average beer, though so-so pale. Good C hop aroma. Good lacing. Fresh. Citrus flavour bitterness, and malt secondary. Tasted more bitter than IBU 31 self-evaluation. Creamy, middling mouthfeel. Above average carbonation. jah noth (959), Rochester, New York, USA Jul 29, 2007 This ale poured a glorious amber in color with a nice, frothy off-white head. Citric hops in the aroma. Medium bodied, some sweetness, with a solid foundation of seemingly columbus andc ascade hops. A terrific quaffer. scraff (1716), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Oct 11, 2006 Amber, creamy light tan head. Nose was quite hoppy with notes of florals, hints of grapefruit, and a touch of sweet caramel. Well bittered and one sided towards the hops, but it does show some light sweetness upon further warming. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry, bitter finish. Finally one from these guys that I would turn into a session ale... argo0 (6334), Washington DC, USA Aug 6, 2006 Clear dark amber body with beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, orange/grapefruit, caramel. Taste is medium sweet, orange/grapefruit, caramel. Soft, light-medium body.
