A red-brown beer with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet and sour with notes of caramel and cherries, while the flavor mainly contains notes of caramel and roasted malt.

(Botle 33 cl) Very dark, close to black. Slightly smoked and "ashy", dry wiithout much bitterness or body. Easy to drink and actually rather pleasant. 061099

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a reddish hue and an off white head. Slight malty aroma. Flavour is malty, roasted and a mild berry note. Ends dry with a malty note.

Clear dark dark red brown color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, dark chocolate notes, moderate berry, burnt sugar notes. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and moderate blackcurrants - chocolate bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20081127]

Draught. Dark brown colour. Big, stable, rocky head. Thinnish flavour, slightly malty. Too watery and boring.

Bottled. Clear red brown coloured with a beige head. Aroma of malts and caramel with roasted notes. Roasted flavour with notes of caramel. Watery palate.

Nearly black with red glimts and a fairly large beige head. Aroma had roasted malt, rye bread and liquerice. Flavour was fairly sweet with hard roast roated malt, hints of liquerice and rye bread.

On Tap at Zum Nussbaum, Berlin 11/07/2004 Dark coloured with some alcohol present. Slightly sour fruit aroma. Crisp roast malt finish.
