on nitro-pours a retaining light brown head and black color. Aroma is dark malt-roasty/peat/molasses. Taste is dark malt-peat/chocolate/coffee, secondary earthy hops. Dry. Not my taste.

Another fantastic brew from Marshall Wharf. I think it’s the first time i’ve ever had an oyster stout, but I will no longer let the name fool me if this is any indication of what they are all like. This beer pours a dark black with a foamy tan head that recedes quickly. The chocolate malts really pack the biggest punch here, as this stout is very sweet tasting and smelling. It’s nice an smooth, clean finishing stout. This new brewery continues to impress. I need to make a visit soon!
