clear dark yellow, thin head, faint hop aroma, light and slightly sweet malt aroma, light malt flavor, just a hint of bitterness

Yeah, Martson’s Buxton Bitter is pretty good, though as weak as piss. It has an oaty/biscuity dry hoppiness about it per se. Not bad for a northerm brew.

Another i had at Chesters inHamilton, surprised its not skunky with its age and a clear bottle.lovely bitter very creamy decent head could down a few of these

Came in a clear bottle which I always find offputting.Nevertheless it turned out to b e an excellent session bitter. Gently bitterand well rounded.

My taste buds may be shot, but not very bitter. Good crisp finish, though. Bonus 160 ml more in bottle than average 500 ml serving and roughly the same price. Which spells market loss. Customer wins.

Aroma was malty, a little tiny touch of sulpur, which is quite good compaired to the usual overpoweringness. Taste seems to be similar little hops but a hint of a dry finish.

Bottle. Brown, boring pasteurised bitter. Fairly dry, no hops, not much of anything. Used most of the bottle to boil some sausages which is a good use for this.

Nutty aroma. Thin head. Nice flavour. Good bitter. Clean finish. I enjoyed this biiter.
