Malt nose. Golden hue with white head. Malty taste with bitter finish, skunked slighty and rusty. Usual Marstons sterile beer.

Bottled. Amber, moderate head and carbonation that isnt over excessive but still manages to dominate the taste by numbing your tastebuds. Slightly fruity aromas, malt fruit and some woodiness in the mouth and a good hop bitterness in the finish to redeem it.

A so, so beer from Marston’s. Has all the attributes of a bitter but without that something extra.
