dnas2 (548), Yelverton, Devon., Devon, England Oct 3, 2006 Amber with a small head. Caramel scent. Very smooth and silky. Slightly carbonated. Sugary and dry but quite hoppy. TBone (5261), Pori, Finland Jul 29, 2006 Cask@Cayo Arms, Cardiff.
Clear light amber color, small off-white head. Caramelly sweet aroma with notes of leather. Hoppy bitter with underlying fruity notes. Bitter aftertaste. Very Marstons-like but quite good session bitter. TC2642 (265), Worcester, Worcestershire, England Jul 9, 2006 Bottle. Bitter with an orange hue, no head, has the typical marston yeast characteristics. Slightly sharp with a farily balanced ratio of malt to hop, but a tad boring. Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England Jul 1, 2006 Cask condtioned @ Duke of Wellington, Soton. Light copper. Light bodied with a few citric hops and little of the usual marstons character. haddonsman (1214), Derby, Derbyshire, England Oct 24, 2005 Cask (handpulled) at the Babington Arms Derby. Thin washy body, thin taste - "so smooth you will hardly notice it slipping down". So says the commercial description, and theyre spot on. Underwhelming yet inoffensive.
