Bottle. Good hop aroma, citrusy. Some light malt balance in the flavor with a long dry hop finish.

Bottle from M & S. A pale beer with a firm head. I found this rather sweet, with toffee and caramel as the dominating flavours. Creamy and smooth, I look in wain for more IPA bitterness.

Bottle from Marks and Sparks, 22-09-07 Pours warm golden with white head. Very little aroma to speak of, a bit sweet malt maybe. Tasted too sweet, nice enough but the sweetness was to the detriment of all else, lacking in really decent hoppiness.

Copper with a moderate head. The aroma is rather neutral with a hint of malt. The flavour has light notes of caramel, sweetness and a citrus acidity, that in no way suits the name IPA. It’s drinkable, but boring and anonymous.

Bottled. (As Marks&Spencer IPA) Clear, golden beer, with a small off-white head. Sweet and malty aroma with some pine and citrus. The flavor starts malty, then some hops come visiting. Medium body and a hoppy finish. (060710)
