Beautiful shining red color, light hazy with a good fizz. Pleasant scent, not too much marked and decided but though with notes of sweet toasted malt and woody. Enough smooth, balanced and simple taste. Not too much exaggerated bitter; pleasant alcoholic rumor on the end. Skinnyviking (4192), Copenhagen, Denmark

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 14, 2005 Rebadged bottle from Marks and Spencer. Pours golden white a white head. Aroma is dusty and hoppy and seems like it’s been damaged a little by light or heat. To taste it is fairly sweet with not much malt character but fairly hoppy and bitter. Slightly unpleasent boiled sugar character in the back ground thanks to the pasteurisation. Unfortunately the cascades advertised on the label didn’t really come through and it was just a standard example of English hopping. Quite a lot better than ratings suggest.
