(Bottle 50 cl) Orangey close to copper in colour with some impurities (not very well protected in the clear glass bottle) Pronounced malty notes but very low in hoppiness. The brewery claims this is an IPA but if that’s the case it’s really in the soft end of the spectre. S’pose it’s fair enough to label it an ESB. 061103

The aroma is light with notes of malt. The color is orange and it has a beutiful head. The flavor is sweet malty with a grassy hoppy finish, though without much bitterness.

Bottled: Golden coloured. Clear. Huge white head. Lasting. Hops and light malt accents in the nose. Metallic, hoppy and malty in the flavour. A bit watery. Lacks bitterness in the end.

Orange body, slightly hazy. Taste reminds me of other Marston's brews I have tasted (Speckled Hen?). I was expecting stronger flavours and a stronger hoppy bite. As an ale, it isn't that bad. As an IPA, for what I know about the genre (i.e. not much), it seems a bit too bland to me.

Amber color, nice creamy head. Aroma is clearly hoppy. Flavor is hoppy as well ,and it turns intosome bitterness. An ordinary ale.
