Nov 24, 2005 50 cl bottle. No yeast in bottom. Golden clear colour with a nice white head. Nice hoppy aroma with hints of caramel. Great flavour of hops and have a dry finish without any total domination.

Nov 20, 2005 White medium lasting head. Light amber colour. Little fruity and grassy aroma with notes of honey. Flavour: Malts and dried herbs. Rather long bitter finish. Not a great ESB.

Nov 17, 2005 Compact and brittle foam, enough fading. Shining red color, a much dark orange. Very bubbly and racy, good persistence. Elegant English aspect. Balanced scent of lightly smoked wood and sweet malty. Overbearing bitter, light alcoholc perception. Prickly and lightly dry taste on the end. Clear straw and malty notes, a lot balanced with a powerful and long-lasting bitter.

Nov 16, 2005 (Bottle) Pours yellow/golden with small fluffy head. Quite a boring IPA, not very hoppish and the bitterness in the beer is rather discrete. Vague notes of fruits (banana/apple).

Nov 7, 2005 Bottle. Pours a nice golden with a white head. Aroma is sweetish and hoppy with faint notes of vinegar. Flavour is sweetish with a decent hoppy bitterness, although it could be more outspoken. Slight apple notes in the finish. Okay, but nothing special. 08-11-05.

Nov 5, 2005 Clear amber color, nice medium white head. Hazelnut and biscuits in the aroma. Mildly dry and hoppy, smooth and drinkable. Light to medium body. Obviously not the most extreme example of the style, more similar to a bitter ale, nice but not particularly interesting.

Oct 2, 2005 True to the IPA style (initially malty ending in a dry bitter finish), but not very exciting. The bottle is nicely shaped and all but clear (why?). The beer is listed as a "premium bitter/ESB" - maybe the IBU isn’t high enough?
