| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 30, 2008 Bottled sample. Vibrant orange in colour with moderate carbonation. Aromas of toffee, pear, orange, and grapefruit. Fairly balanced malt+hop flavor combo, along with some booze, earthy hops, more orange and pear esters. A hint of diacetyl, and a slightly slick mouthfeel goes along well with a surprisingly grippy bitterness. Would be a bit better with a bit more hop aroma and a bit less booze. Not bad. dkazuk (247), winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Deep golden colour, moderate white head that does not last very long. Moderate but nice hoppy (Cascade and Goldings) aroma, hints of toffee too. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour has noticeable Goldings and Fuggles hops and some caramel, moderately bitter finish. Okay, but not particularly interesting. MrAleman (111), Wiltshire, England
