Jun 29, 2007 Cask at ’Spoons, Milton Keynes. Amber gold with a white head. Hoppy aroma. Malty taste, quite sweet, and a bitter finish. Used to like this in bottles. This was fair but didn’t make a huge impression.

Apr 6, 2007 Updated: Apr 10, 2007Cask conditioned - handpump - Boat Inn Stoke Bruerne. A copper coloured beer with some white head. The aroma is pretty non-descript and thin. The taste is hoppy and has warming qualities. Quite malty also. A decent beer.

Dec 18, 2006 Cask at the Boat Inn, Stoke Breune, Northants. Poured a fairly standard amber colour, aroma little bit sweet with some malt. Taste was very pleasant with malts backed up by caramel flavours and quite fruity as well.

Dec 3, 2006 Thin white head; light orange body. No aroma. Sweetish soft apple and tea taste with delicately bitter aftertaste. Lovely session beer, but could have more taste and complexity. (0.5pt on cask.)

Oct 8, 2006 Aroma gives not very much at all, some kind of grassy hops perhaps. Taste is similar caramel malts but everything is minimal. Another terribly disapointing appearance from these fellows. Not as much sulphur as im used too i suppose.
