Aug 17, 2006 Cask at GBBF 06’: fresh, juicy, very fruity, hoppy and refrashingly bitter, medium bodied, i really liked this one.

Aug 3, 2006 Handpump @ the Three Tuns Inn, York, Nth Yorkshire.
Clear, medium gold with a tinge of copper. Short, incomplete head that left just a little lace. Raspy, sharp and bitter hop nose that died off quickly. Huge presence of alcohol spice in the first mouthful. Quite thin for style and soft on the palate. Grassy bitter bite in back with a touch of honey malts and plastic across the tongue. Ill-defined and suffering from unintegrated flavours, this just seemed bland and too alcoholic for its body. The finish was like vodka and eucalyptus. Not good at all. One for a re-rate if I get the chance, but for now I can only rate it poorly.

Jun 7, 2006 Cask at Københavnske Øldage 2006. Pale amber colour with a weak head. Light malty nose with a touch of fruitness. Malty flavour with a hoppieness with some citrus notes.

Jun 6, 2006 Cask at the Wharf, Aalborg, DK. Clear, golden beer with a small, almost non-existing white head. Light malty aroma with a hoppiness that I didn’t like that much. The flavor is mostly bitter, with fruityness and some caramel-notes. Some carbonation is felt in the mouth, and it has a long, dry bitterness in the finish. (060506)

Feb 25, 2006 Cask conditioned @ Humble Plumb, Soton. Sulpherous Marstons nose, lots of malt aromas and light hops which don’t have much interest. Sweet with noticeable alcohol and not much bitterness.
