harrisoni (5331), Ashford, Kent, England May 8, 2008 On tap at White Lion, Tenterden, Kent. Walked into a Marston’s pub and there were 4 handpumps all with clips turned the wrong way round which was disappointing. This wasn’t totally awful, better than some nitro bitters I’ve had, had some mouthfeel, some light fruits and some hop sting on finish. Served way too cold, but actually relatively pleasant if blandish. bierkoning (4917), La Tropica, Netherlands Jul 28, 2008 Can, with nitro capsule. Golden color. Just a hint of apple in the aroma. Mediium bodied. Malty flavor with some flowery hops and cake dough. Butterscotch. Surprisingly drinkable. Pub (4102), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Aug 7, 2008 Nitro Keg at The Pepper Pot, Banbury. Murky brown with forced head. Typical pasteurised nitro beer, full of nothing, just cold and malted. Poor stuff. Magic_dave6 (3975), London, Greater London, England Jul 24, 2008 Tap at the woodmans. Nitro keg at about -40*. Its inoffensive in that theres nothing to taste, but the nitro character is outstanding. Who knows how they managed to get such a thick head on it and how they managed to serve it below 0* without the line freezing? leaparsons (3963), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Dec 30, 2007 Can. Golden brown with a dense cream head. Aromas are dry biscuit malts with grain. Slightly creamy with a light fruitiness. Flavours are soft smooth light malts with some creaminess. Hints of citrus and hops bitterness. So thin that it leaves you trying hard to get some taste out of it.
