Daredevil (77), Bern, Switzerland May 9, 2008 in the past my way around finding a drink was this: in a hot summer I would take a very cold lager, all other seasons I would go for anything but a lager .... meanwhile the lager brews are facing serious competition not only from IPA’s but also from brews like this: a lightweight topfermented ale with only 3.6 ABV (so you might enjoy a few pints to quench your thirst) ... mabel (1673), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 27, 2007 [650-20070922] Tap @ Fox & Hounds (Oxford, OX). Faint aroma has a little grainy fruit. Clear, orange light brown body with a huge and long-lasting creamy off-white head and thick lacing. Mild citrus flesh orange sweetness and light squash flavour. Super creamy and smooth medium body. Definitely lives up to its name, in excellent condition. Nejhleader (791), Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 27, 2007 just another english smooth beer, these beers are about a nickel a dozen, not saying they are bad, but they are everywhere in england. perhaps a mildly bitter hop taste mixed in the smooth body. iammadeofjelly (183), Liverpool, Merseyside, England Dec 27, 2005 This is a fantastic li’l beer, available in pubs all across the land, wonderful hoppy aroma and taste, pale golden colour and thick white head, forget that its a bit commercial, it’s really good. DruncanVeasey (1737), No. 46, Leicestershire, Germany May 1, 2007 Cask pint, Horse And Jockey, Bentley. Delicate hop fruitiness and very lengthy biscuity afters. About 2mins long. Almost lager-like deep amber pint. Not too much Gilette. A nibble of sourish woodsiness. Completely unexpectedly, Beer Of The Evening.
