Magicdave6 (4153), London, Greater London, England Apr 2, 2008 Cask in counting house. Aroma gives suprisingly no sulphur, nutty pale malts, citrus and grass. Taste is similar light and drinkable, biscuity in the finish. imdownthepub (4311), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Apr 2, 2008 Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Cloudy Orange with white head. Mine opened with a big burst of fragrance, peach blossom came to mid, but it is spring. The flavours are again peach with a touch of orange and a slightly spiced background, almost like a wheat beer with its flavours and opaque nature. Sweetish thin finish. Interesting. MesandSim (4723), Highgate, Greater London, England Mar 28, 2008 A Mes rate: Cask at the Crosse Keys.
Bright gold with a sparkler head. Slight hoppage that is nice enough just there isn’t enough. Bit of tobacco. Seriously lacking in character but drinkable enough. cgarvieuk (2796), Edinburgh, Scotland Mar 27, 2008 Cask at JWD ... Golden orange ... light hop nose ... grassy fruity hop ... drying bitter linger ... harrisoni (5605), Ashford, Kent, England Mar 26, 2008 Cask handpull at Wetherspoons, JDW, Folkestone. Gold with lasting thin ivory head. Well, it’s a golden ale, some biscuit, some hop sting on end. Earthy aroma. Decent condition. Really very earthy aroma and earthy on finish with pale malt in the middle.
