Commercial Description:
Named for its dominate specialty malt, it has an aroma of baked biscuits with gentle fruity hops. There is a grainy bread-like flavor, with lots of hops in the finish.

Veyr nice to drink, a little gassy as many U.S. good beers and it was a pleasure to find it in GBBF 2009.

Cask at GBBF 2009. Hazy orange pour. Fruity aroma. Very tired fruity taste, no hop presence. This sample had clearly seen better days.

Cask (gravity) at GBBF 2009, Day 1 @ 5.1%. Don’t know whether they have dropped the ABV or the programme notes were wrong. Very murky appearance that suggested the condition wasn’t that great. However, both aroma and flavour had a very appealing prominent aromatic, leafy hop presence, with some grapefruit notes tending towards US IPA character. So I was rather surprised to see the programme notes announcing Fuggles and EKG as the hops. I imagine this would a good drinking pint on home turf.
