Clean orange brown color. Sweet, bitter flavors. Same as aroma. Thin body, lite mouthfeel, bittersweet finish. Very nice. Volgon (2463), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Jan 12, 2004 Ruby with no head, sweet malts in the aroma, and also ends swseet. Light carbonation and long aftertaste. ericnixon (712), Lenox, Massachusetts, USA Dec 17, 2003 the Octoberfest Ale from Martha's Exchange was a nice dark color with no head. The virtual lack of carbonation left me wanting a co2 tank. It had a neat fruity malty flavor.
