Appearance:Dark,good lacing brown head..
Flavor:rosted malt, light chocolate, litle bit watery.. muzzlehatch (4429), Burlington, Vermont, USA Feb 21, 2006 5 oz sampler at the brewpub in the company of ClarkVV GeuezeLord. Delicate, artistic lacing forms over the well-maintained brown head that caps a purplish-black body....light sweet cocoa nose with touches of cherry and licorice, little roast...nicely malted body, lightly roasty-toasty with touches of dry coffee grounds and bitter baker’s chocolate....things are going well, but the body alas is too thin, a little slick and milky, watery at the very finish. Well, not a bad effort overall. jcwattsrugger (4272), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jan 30, 2006 on tap-pours a brown creamy head that laces with black color. Aroma is coffee, malt. Taste is coffee, dry, malt, thin.
