Ungstrup (11930), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 2, 2003 The aroma is a very clean sweet wheat aroma. The color is an unclear pale yellow and it has a fine but fast disappearing head. The flavor is very light lemon like with a light wheat touch. A nice wheat beer - not too sour. Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 27, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Pale golden with a huge head and a heavy carbonation. Very dry and fresh but it lacks the more subtle and refined fruity notes you find in the best Hefes. 230800 omhper (11030), Stockholm, Sweden Mar 1, 2002 Sampled draught. Pale yellow, hazy. Creamy, butterscotchy, soft. Thirst quenching. A good example of the style.
yespr (8540), Copenhagen O, Denmark Oct 10, 2007 From tap at the Den Tatoverede Enke. Pours hazy yellow with a white creamy and lasting head. Wheaty and somewhat oldish aroma. Medium sweet to dry wheaty flavour, nicely mellow with good portion of carbonation, quite fresh contrary the aroma. Somewhat fruity wheat finish. joergen (6951), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 8, 2006 Bottle.
