pivnizub (4181), Porúří, Germany Oct 6, 2008 Bügelverschlußflasche: Clear, amber, visible carbonation; bigger persistent loose off-white head; caramel, toasted malt and cooked vegetables in the aroma; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; toasted malt - with an almost coffeeish tinge - dominates the robust sweet-malty finish. Tastes much better than it smells....... MoritzF (4046), Ruhrpott, Germany May 10, 2008 (swing top bottle) Clear, brown colour with a fluffy beige head. Moderately sweet toast-malty nose with caramel, sour dough and a subtle fruity touch, accompanied by herbal hops. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, medium, slightly crispy carbonation. Roast-malty, quite burnt taste with caramel and light liquorice-like, herbal spice; dry and bitter, slightly hoppy finish with hints of caramel and coffee in the aftertaste. Not a perfectly rounded brew but clean and pretty tasty enough (01.05.08). Emil (6077), Copenhagen, Denmark Mar 28, 2007 Bottle. Amber colour with a big off-white head. Light caramel malt, dusty aroma and a caramel malt, dusty, corn taste. Medium body with a light sweet hoppy finish.
