Bottle: Golden, huge fluffy white head, solid swet pale malt and aromatic herbal hops in the aroma; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, soft MF, clean hoppy and pale-malty finish. Good, pleasant Pils.............

bottle, thank you MoritzF! Clear golden yellow, large white head. Malty base, pleasantly hoppy with grassy and nutty hints. Nice Pilsener with a rural character.

(on tap at a pub in Marktheidenfeld) Clear, pale golden colour with a beautiful and stable blond foamy head. Light sweet, pale malty nose with sour dough and a touch of hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated mf. Malty, slightly bready taste with herbal hops; dry and herbal hoppy finish with a balanced malty blend. Clean and solid German Pilsener (04.02.07).

Swing top bottle, tasted at Watermöll Bels in Vasse (NL). Indifferent aroma. Slight, partly faded hopbitter flavor. A bit sharp on the edges. Thinnish with a touch of dust. Drinkable.

When you’re out of Martinsbrau, you’re out of town! Had this beer in situ in Marktheidenfeld, where it was part of an excellent time I had eating and drinking with friends. The beer’s a typical German--good body, the usual hoppiness and a nice head.
