Draught at the brewpub. Pours cloudy copper with khaki head. The aroma is hoppy with flowers and citrus and a sweet note that resembles fruitcake. The flavor is fruity hops right off the bat. Grapefruit, a touch of mixed citrus, then toast. There’s slight alcohol in the finish, and a dry aftertaste that leaves a floral bitterness in the mouth for quite some time.

opaque amber, fine beige head, lots of drippy lace, sweet dark caramel aroma with lots of floral hops, rich caramel malt flavor, nice sweetness balanced by a handfull of hop flavor, the sweetness gets a bit sticky after a while but the hop profile keeps up with it, nice lingering bitter finish, a well made IPA

Please ignore my numbers, I rate by how I enjoy them and I don’t care for hoppy IPA. You ask, then why did I taste? Well, because it was there. This is as good example of an IPA that I have tasted, has all the good attributes. It is a little darker than you typical IPA, kinda orange brown with a reddish hue. . Bitter medicinal syrupy qualities coat the inside of your mouth. Like chewing on green grapefruit rinds? Give this a try, will not disappoint. Certainly a good example of an IPA. Finish is bitter lingering that lasts and lasts. Offensive and over the top. Just what you’d expect for a good IPA.

Thanks Bill for trading this to me! The beer pours to a clean mahogany body with a creamy, bubbly, off-white/light beige head. The aroma is fully of pineapple, pine, grapefruit, and light peaches. The flavor is bitter but not overly so. Nicely balanced malt and moderately bitter hops. So far, Bill makes a good brew! Pineapple, pine, and grapefruit in the flavor and some interesting malts. Moderate palate that finishes nicely bitter.

Thanks to Blake for sharing. off orangish brown color w/ a fairly small light tan head and some nice lacing. Very fruity aroma hints of cereal some call back to fruity pebbles actually lots of grapefruit and passion fruit some hints of fresh hop flowers smells almost sweet... mmmm.. Palate is well coated but fairly avg. Flavor is delicious very hoppy but not very bitter full of fresh hop flowers... like sucking on an orange and a hop flower at the same time... mmm... and some light passion fruit and hints of carmel and cereal. A very nummy ipa, but not nearly as bitter as I would have expected.

Slightly hazed rusty copper body. Soapy/creamy thin tan head. Fully flowery citrus aroma. Seems like Simcoe to me. Some grass. Flavor is a papery citrus. Full of citrus and flowers. Fruity hops. Really good. Sweet, not bitter, but more hop flavor than malts. Banana bread (?). Its up there with the top IPAs, but it stands out enough to make it special. As Chuck says, "tons of hop flavor, but not bitter".

On tap. Poured a dark and cloudy amber color with small sized off white head. Aromas of fresh hop leaves, floral and light citrus. Tastes of fresh hops, citrus with a grapefruit bitter finish.
