Oct 2, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Pours light gold with tight white head. The aroma is buttery and floral. The flavor has pleasant floral hops throughout. Very mild sweetness is there, but it’s still on the dry side, with a little bit of a fruity finish. This isn’t bad at all.

Aug 31, 2007 Draft in Altoona. Surprisingly floral nose. Light gold. Notes of carmel with some spice. It’s an odd flavor. Interesting. Wouldn’t mind trying again.

Aug 28, 2007 Updated: Dec 31, 2007Ubiquitous pale yellow american lager color. Smells a little sweet and vinegary. Taste is definately pilsner bitter. Refined pilsner style hop bitterness. Not ale hops, mind you, pilsner lager hops. Mild carbonation. A little more bitterness than this lager lover can appreciate. Lingering processed pilsner bitterness on the finish. Wants to be an ale.

Aug 21, 2006 Draught at the brewery. Clear dark yellow (slightly orangish). Fuesal banana esters in the nose. Oily, moderately thin texture, medicinal bananas. Somewhat sour (in a bad way), fizzy, oily finish. Not sharp or crisp really, and not a good example of the style. Has some mild bitterness from the grassy, oily hops, but still lacks crispness.

Jul 6, 2005 Pours gold, with aroma of hopcit, some apricot, and some honey. Tastes hopcity, with a dry hopcit finish. Very crisp finish, with good complexity.

Jun 19, 2005 Updated: Oct 24, 2006HBF 2005. Pours a nice blond color, clear, good carbonation, and a nice white head. Good amount of light pils malt for aroma and backed by lots of floral hops. Almost a little fruitiness in the aroma as well. Flavor was nicely balanced between the pils malt and some european style hops. Good crisp clean finish with a little fruitiness lingering in the end. Easy drinking clean pilsner.

Jun 19, 2005 Draft... Harrisburg Brewfest 2... Clear, light yellow lager with a small, creamy, white head. Butterscotch, toffee, citrus fruit and white pepper in the nose. Generously hopped for a pilsener, but sufficient malt to balance things out flavorwise. Light to medium-bodied and dry with fizzy carbonation. Lengthy, lightly bitter, dry finish. In all fairness, pilseners aren’t really my thing.
