Commercial Description:
Brewed with wildflower honey and a touch of coriander, this golden Belgian style ale gets it citrusy flavors from a special yeast strain and has a lingering hop finish.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a vibrant amber color with a small white head that faded quickly. The aroma was tangy and sweet with touches of floral and grapefruity hops and light musty dry spice undertone. Very complex on the nose. The flavor was dryish, sharp and bitter with strong floral and lightly fruity hops dominating and a touch of a musty undertone. The finish was long, dry and bitter. Decent.

Clear pale straw color with some smally fizzy white head. The aroma is like sweet sushi pickets. Honey, jasmine, and some grainy character. A lot of the same very sweet character in the flavor. Almost sweet jasmine tea that finishes extremely dry. A nice hop character, but not as much hop flavor as the bitterness. Some citrus lemon peel to give it some kick to bite through the sweetness. Very good.

On tap at brewpub. Pours yellow with orange hues and one finger white head. Nose is yeasty with coriander and other spices. Mild wheat notes and some malty, bready sweetness. Taste is dry and bitter with yeasty notes and loads of sweetness, presumably from the honey. Very odd to have something this dry and sweet at the same time. Bread notes and peppery. Decent.

On tap at the brewery. Great yeasty jasmine aroma, like the original saison from 2004. Fragrant spices, sweet pilsner malt and grassy hops. Lemony notes - citrusy. Golden amber clear with light haze. Topped with thin white head. Medium bodied with medium-high carbonation. Starts with rounded sweet pilsner malts and nice jasmine notes. Yeasty character throughout. sweet from start to finish with fruity undertones and floral fresh hops. Has a strong bitter finish that lasts but is not harsh or unpleasant. Nice saison.
