Bright gold color, white foam, low retention and lacing. Nice noble hop aroma with some bready malt notes also. Very solid maltbase with perfect amount of bittering. Very surprised by this beer, though it would be the worst of the lineup. LinusStick (1846), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Much more taste than most out there. If there were going to bottle this should be one. Pour was a light gold with a one finger white head. Aroma was decent...a nice light malt tinge. Flavor was typical of a pale lager but a very pronounced hop aftertaste. Almost like a pilsener. Nice. tronraner (1933), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 2, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Pours light yellow with sticky white head. The aroma is surprisingly malty with lots of bread and some saltine crackers. The flavor resembles whole wheat bread, but with very papery hops after. A bit of a doughy aftertaste. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 11, 2007 Updated: Dec 31, 2007On tap at the Marzoni’s in Allison Park. Here they call it Three Rivers Gold for the local yocals. Ubiquitous pale yellow appearance. Earthy straw aroma. Flavor is not as earthy as the smell, but it does have a mild wet straw flavor in there. Good medium carbonation. Very little, if any bitterness. Just like a pale lager should be, well behaved with manners. Easy to get along with. Does have an ever so slight pilsner type bite to it. Finish is easy and friendly. Perhaps a little watery on the finish. FROTHINGSLOSH (2025), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 24, 2007 Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a very pale yellow color with a small white head. The aroma was faint and dry. The flavor was light, dry, slightly tangy and a bit nutty. Fairly decent for a light lager. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

Gold pour, with aroma ans taste of hopcit, bready malt, and some honey as it finishes. A very good light beer, in fact, this one is in my upper pantheon of light beers.
