Draft @ Marzoni’s. Clear copper colored body with a 1/2 inch off-white head, overall a very bright appearance. Super sweet up front, hugely fruity, syrupy, and oily, tasting like fruit cocktail/pear syrup/maraschino cherries, with some cloying olive oil developing in the finish. Man, way too sweet, sticky and sugary.

Pours a clear light copper brown color with almost no head. Aroma reminds me of cough medicine - can smell the alcohol. Flavor very very alcoholish. Sweet sugary tries to cover it but does terrible job. Worst beer I had there. Avoid.

Another beer had at the Penn Brewery Festival. Nice head and lacing, but the flavor was a bit lacking for style without the maltiness normally associated with a brew this heavy. Alcohol presence was evident without any heavy hop aftertaste. An easy drinker.

Malty caramel notes. Alcohol vapors and nice esters. LIght fruitiness, cotton candy or candy corn. Overall aroma is mild by pleasant. Reddish orange amber clear with thin white head, but of lacing during initial sips. Medium bodied, bit of alcohol warming, and medium carbonation. Starts with some sweetness, nice caramel tangy malts. Big alcohol warming and taste profile. Mild fruitiness. Medium bittering from mid-taste to finish. Dry nutty profile in finish/after. Vapory with some vanilla. Good ester. It’s just a bit harsh in bittering finish, mild chalkiness. Pairs better with food than drinking too much by itself, mainly because of the alcohol level.
