Sample at the brewpub. Clear gold pour with a medium off-white head. The aroma says to me it’s all cascade (and I could be terribly wrong here), with hints of pine and citrus upon a mostly floral bouquet with some malty sweetness there too. Equally balanced malt and hop flavor with the hops being equal parts grassy, citrus and pine. Pretty solid APA.

Tap, sampler glass. Off red, slightly clouded appearance. Citrus hop aroma, some ruby grapefruit, some tangerine. Smooth on the tongue, doesn’t have the bite the aroma hints at. Lingery grassy hop flavor that sticks around.

Pours a very very light brown color with slight fizzy head. Aroma is a bit piney hoppiness, but lacking. Flavor is watery with slight hoppiness. Way too watery - like most of this place’s beers.

On tap @ Duncansville. Pours a clear dark gold with a foamy off-white head, sticky lace. Finally some hops in my sampler! Light floral hops over toasted caramel malt. Moderate bitter flavor, crackery toasted maltiness. Medium bodied with a little clinginess on the finish. Soft fizzy carbonation. Overall, a decent APA.

Sampled at Allison Park under the alias "North Park Pale Ale." Pours pale golden amber with and off white head. Tame aroma of floral hops and pale malts. Initial flavor of toffee and caramel that is countered by a grapefruity bitterness. Semi-dry finish with a hint of soapiness and alcohol on the back end.

(Duncansville) Lightly hazed amber body with off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, grapefruit, some caramel. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, light pineapple. Light-medium body, some resin. On the bitter side for the style.

Pours a light oragish amber color, aroma of hops and yeast. Taste of a lot of hops for an APA, some fruit, and yeasty malt.

Sampler at the Allison Park location, 02.03.08 (Super Bowl Sunday). Slightly hazy salmon lavender, white head. Aroma is tangerine, delicate kiwi. Flavor is hoppy, (tangerine) bitter, and crisp. This is one of the better pale ales that I’ve ever had.
