hazy amber, fine beige head, lots of drippy lace, light sweet caramel and grapefruit aroma, caramel malt flavor balanced with lots of hops leading to a long agressive bitter finish, only a hint of sweetness manages to sneak through the bitterness,

(Duncansville) Lightly hazed amber body with off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, grapefruit, some caramel. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, light pineapple. Light-medium body, some resin. On the bitter side for the style.

Draught at the brewery. Cloudy, unfiltered sharp orange color, bright in appearance. Mild sugary hop nose, with a decent amount of yeast esters as well. Flavor is light, body is moderately frothy, just tastes pale and empty, I guess, especially up front. Most of the flavor is in the finish. Bitterness is decent for an APA, most of the flavor being from the yeast, sorta tastes like a homebrew, actually. Malty and chewy, with more bittering than flavor from the hops. Still, overall it’s fresh-tasting and refreshing, but common.

This one was great. Dark straw pour with aroma of perfumy florals, fruity esters, and hopcit. Tastes very fruity, with well balanced hops and citrus elements at the finish. Palate is medium, hoppy, and complex.

Bomber via Bill. The beer pours to a clean bright glowing orange body with a nice creamy white head and nice lacing. The aroma is piney limes and has lots of pale malts. The flavor is piney, resiny, and finishes very toasty. The palate has a dry bready but moderate mouthfeel to it. Nicely carbonated.

Great fruity, hop oil aroma - grapefruit and light malt. Medium tea brown, hazy, with off-white head. Light medium carbonation with heavy watery body. Starts with fruity sweet, medium bitter, and light acidity. Finishes with medium acidity and bitterness. After is pleasingly bitter. A very nice pale ale.

On tap @ Duncansville. Pours a clear dark gold with a foamy off-white head, sticky lace. Finally some hops in my sampler! Light floral hops over toasted caramel malt. Moderate bitter flavor, crackery toasted maltiness. Medium bodied with a little clinginess on the finish. Soft fizzy carbonation. Overall, a decent APA.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a caramel amber color with a khaki head. The aroma is strong piney and fruity hops. The flavor was bitter, piney and had a strong grapefruit element. There is a nice underlying malty sweetness. There is a long bitter grapefruit. Rather one dimensional but enjoyable.
