Bottle shared by Blake, kindly sent to him by the brewer. Clear brown body under a small tight tan head. Raspberry tartness and toasty caramel malts in the aroma. Big malty flavor that hits you up front with round, sweet caramelly malts with cherry fruitiness in the finish. Somewhat dry finish. A fine scotch ale, lots tasty malt going on.

Slightly hazed brownish copper. Dusty tan head. Slightly fruited nutty caramel with hints of smoke. Well put together aroma. Flavor is pretty good. Light, but that’s not a bad thing. Light fruity hops amidst a sweet smoked caramel malt. Nice and balanced, well put together.

brownish redish color w/ a nice tan head and some thick lacing. Sweet aroma good amounts of brown sugar and carmel a light tangy almost smoky hint w/ touches of alcohol. Nice mouth feel, good coating lightly creamy. A quite warm swallow bringing the alcohol out w/ lots of sweet brown sugars, carmels, toffee’s and some roasted grains still that hint of almost a smoke like tange. Quite nice, I’d drink it again.

Light sweet roased malts, mild alcohol vapors. Tangy molasses notes, fruity hops. Dark brown clear with thin off-white lacing head. Medium watery body with light-medium carbonation. Starts with roasted sweet malt taste, brown sugar and molasses, mild acidity. Has some tanginess at the finish, lacking in bitterness. A bit sweet overall, but a nice ale.

Draught @ the Brewery: this one pours am opaque brown, with a strong tan head. There is a bit of lacing down the glass. The aroma is somewhat peaty and smokey, with a nice malt sweetness behind it. The taste is initially malty sweet, with some of the peatiness and smokiness coming through. Very Good!
