| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 17, 2008 I felt that this was the best of the marzonis brews I tried BY FAR. Pours a jet black color with a large amount of froathy browth head that stays. Aroma is roasted coffee and cream. Flavor and mouthfeel are very very creamy and smooth. Dry roasty flavor, slight coffee taste - like a slightly more bitter guiness. Nate (2552), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 2, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Pours black with ruby edges and an eternal tan head that leaves excellent lacing. The aroma is very roasty with lots of fresh coffee notes, some chocolate, and even a very vague vanilla-y bourbon hint. The flavor is dark caramel and coffee at first, then gets nutty in the middle and leads to a sweet finish. Silky mouthfeel.
