Commercial Description:
As the most recent addition to the Mash beer range, Honey Pils presents beautifully in the glass - a lively and light gold beer topped with a fine white head. Brewed with two additions of locally made wildflower honey, it has an aroma of honey and fresh hops. The flavour is smooth - a combination of grain and hops with the honey lingering and complementing the pilsner style. Lively, refreshing and smooth.

Part of the sampler tray at the brewery. This and the Pale look almost identical-- slightly darker gold than the Mex. Sweet grainy aroma, hints of honey I suppose. Sweet grainy palate, cleaner than the Mex thankfully. Finish has a bit of floral perfume.

Served on tap @ Mash in a pilsener glass, tastes drier than expected, light in body, light clear gold body with short lasting head, the honey on the nose reminds me of my breakfast, notes of hay also in the taste.
