Commercial Description:
The usual smooth flavour of a wheat beer - with a twist. Balanced nicely with a delicate aroma and flavor of Raspberries, this is an early favorite.

At the brewhouse one sunny Tuesday, now weeks ago. The head brewer kegging his brews surrounded by stainless steel conical tanks, behind the bar, a good setting for anyone who loves beer. There is a distant shade of pinkish hue in the shallow of this ones orangey gold, slightly hazy body. A solid white head was there as the lovely waitress left it, it held, legged well, looked good. Prominent fell raspberry fruit nose, a smeltered plastic hint, some sordid malts didn’t help. O.K., it didn’t smell the part, but the fruit dominated so all is good sailing. Fizzed up, light and dandy, soft candied raspberries in the mouth, good to savour, there and in effect. Shy, wispy wheat underneath to base, a back end of pear drops before some more of that raspberry fruit on tail. It lingers well, holds well even as it warms, and quaffs a Summer begone. It is easy to drink and not challenging, an easier way to say the last sentence. Needs some more kindle in the fire.

Served in a large pilsener glass this beer looks a dull, hazy, golden orange body with a hardly lasting head. There was some lacing and also some sediment. Nose of raspberry and not much else. Initial upfront taste of raspberry was a tad harsh but once part that there was zesty lemon though a little flat. This was a seasonal beer just not sure of the right season.
