Commercial Description:
This golden ale is made with light colored malts and mild hops to allow for the plum, raisin and oak characters provided by the yeast we import in from a monastary in Belgium.

Draught. Pours on the darker side of a clear golden hue without much of a head that can be found in this style. The aroma is big and sweet. I found notes of bananas, bubblegum, crackers. . . Flavor is quite full with plenty of banana and cream taste. A mild, spiced finish like corriander or maybe even carroway plays second fiddle to the robust fruity notes. You know, this might be a notch too sweet, but still enjoyable enough.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden color with thin white head. Smells of alcohol, yeast, and bananas with grapefruit undertones. Spicy, with banana, clove and fruity taffy. Finsihes slightly sweet.
