Draught at the brewpub. Served without a lemon. Hazy yellow color with thin white head. The aroma is donimated by bananas, as if someone unpeeled a banana and mashed it into the glass. This, combined with the barley and wheat, make for a pleasant banana bread flavor with citrus and clove undertones. Good beer.

Boy, was I shocked when I tasted this beer. My boy and I were sitting in a pub in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and decided to sample a local NC micro on draught. This was one of the most acidic beers I’d ever put to my lips, and once I swallowed, the thick aftertaste was so heavily bitter that I literally had to breathe deeply in order to choke it down, in the manner in which many people drink hard liquor as they are reaching their limit. Somehow I managed the rest of the pint, and have not touched a drop of this brew since.

Draught. Cloudy orange. Slight yeast and orange in aroma. Flavor is similar with a little clover, but not as yeasty as would imagine. Soft finish.

Great spicy aroma. Mashed banana, hazy yellow-brown. Good esters, fruity, good hopping, nice fizz. Quick tart finish. Very well done.
