Commercial Description:
Only true hop-heads apply! Our I.P.A. is copper colored and big in hop bitterness, flavor and aroma, using an enormous amount of Northern Brewer and Cascade hops to create a very refreshing ale.

12 oz bottle via DecaturStevo(thanks!). Pours a semi-hazy amber color with an average size head. Aroma of mild grapefruit, lemon, and caramel. Taste start with some malty caramel, then some pine, and finishes with some mellow grapefruit and some orange on top of a nice malt backbone (that stays subdued). Bitter grapefruit lingers in the aftertaste a bit. Medium bodied and average amount of carbonation. Pretty good IPA.

From notes 8/11/03: Pours a bright orange-copper color with a huge pillowy white head that plops and poofs away in patches. Huge lacing involved. Aromas are divinely hoppy. An earthy hop air, one where you can almost sense the soil the vines grew in. Citrus and floral in the scent as well. Tastes of that wonderful hop cone abound. Very floral and slightly grapefruity, with a balancing bitterness that keeps in check whatever malt that is trying to peek through. Medium mouthfeel. Wonderful aftertaste of earthy hops lingering. You palate is coated with hop resins and oils. More bitterness comes through as the beer warms, but it still is so terribly wonderful to drink.

Bottle. Pours pale orange with a half-inch off-white head. Aroma is nice citrus/piney hops and caramel. Flavor has Double IPA-like qualities, in a more mild form. Very nice balance of citrus hops, caramal, other fruits, and malts. Very nice mouth feel and finish make this a winner.

Bottle thanks to Ross, who collects rusty trombones. Pours amber with a nice fluffy off white head, spotty lacing. Aroma of nuts, caramel, floral hops. The flavor here is well rounded. Mouthfeel is like a good british bitter, medium light and refreshing, not much carbonation. Malty caramel, mild tea flavors and bitter hops share center stage. Earthy, mild bitter finish. British and american blend going on here. Lots of malt to counter the hops, which don’ t kick you in the nuts like american IPA’s

12oz bottle via trade with SpringsLicker! - Thanks Jay! - Pours dark amber with a pretty nice creamy tan head that stays well and laces the sides of the glass. Nice balanced aroma of caramel malts, some apricot, and some floral hops. Flavor is nicely balanced as well good caramel malts, floral hops, apricot, earthy notes, and a touch of pine in the finish. Medium bodied with not much carbonation, smooth mouthfeel, and good balance.. Enjoyable..

Bottle courtesy of Ross. Clear copper color with a medium white head that laces nicely. Aroma is citris, earth, and slightly metallic. Flavor has a stronger metallic taste with caramel sweetness and grassy hops in the finish. Easily drinkable, but nothing really stands out in it.

Bottle - Im just comming to terms with IPA’s but this one is rather good... Pours a amber/orange with a frothy white head - Nose is flowery hops and piney - Taste is lots of hops with a bit of malty smoothness... and a rather piney bitter finish.. pretty good IPA in my opinion

Nice floral aroma. As advertised; lots of hops. Doesn’t through the balance off too much though. Worth a try if you’ve ran out of better stuff.
